在新疆畜牧业发展中以牛羊养殖为主的草原畜牧业占有重要地位,同时又是受自然灾害影响较大的产业。目前,草原畜牧业仍然没有脱离四季游牧的的传统生产方式,抵御自然灾害的能力脆弱,特别是新疆北疆地区冬季长、寒冷,遭遇暴雪或寒流时降温幅度大,气温低,道路受阻,草场被积雪覆盖。由于极端寒冷和断草断料,以放牧为主的羊群饥饿、冻伤和冻死等灾情十分严重。尤其是断奶冬羔,由于断奶应激以及机体尚未发育成熟,导致对疾病和寒冷等抵抗力差,死亡率高。   本项目以寒冷及饥饿条件下断奶羔羊为研究对象,研究急性和慢性冷暴露时羔羊血液生理生化常值,新发现的生长激素释放肽(Ghrelin)以及应激相关激素(皮质醇、T3、胰岛素)的动态变化规律,为根据我区冬季气候特点科学评价家畜冷应激程度提供基础数据;另外,通过外源性给予Ghrelin, 探讨其对寒冷和饥饿双重应激的影响,为该激素将来用于调控动物生产奠定基础。

Abstract

Grassland animal husbandry, mainly in the cattle and sheep, occupies an important role in livestock development in Xinjiang. It is also most influenced by disasters among agricultural fields. Currently, the grassland animal husbandry is still not out of the traditional seasonal nomadic mode of production, and it is weak to withstand disasters. Winter is long and very cold in Xinjiang. When heavy snowing and/or cold current came, the temperature was decreased in a large extent with roads blocked, snow-covered pasture. Then, the grazing sheep encountered hunger, cold injury and death. Especially, the lamb was easy to get disease and die due to the weaning stress and immature of body, resulting in a high mortality.  This project is aimed to investigate 1) the effect of the acute and chronic cold exposure on physiological and biochemical values; 2) the changes of the newly discovered growth hormone releasing peptide (ghrelin) and stress-related hormones (cortisol, T3, insulin) in weaned lambs under the conditions of cold and hunger; 3) the effect of exogenous ghrelin on the cold stress in weaned lambs.
